Once the hunting grounds of the famous Zulu chief Shaka, the Park is renowned for its efforts in saving the white rhino from extinction and the magnificence of these first foothills off the coastal escarpment. White rhino abound and sightings of elephant are not unusual. The park also has lion, cheetah, black rhino, leopard, wild dog, a large population of giraffe and much more. Includes light breakfast, gate fees, qualified guide and full lunch as well as refreshments at picnic sites.

The tour price includes:
· Collection and drop off at your hotel/lodge
· Entrance fee into the Park
· Bottled water in the vehicle
· Snack box for munching in-between
· Bush breakfast including coffee and tea
· Bush lunch including beer and wine
· Visit to the craft market
· This is a 8 – 10 hour excursion – we do not rush – we take it very slow
· Our emphasis is spending time at sightings for photographic purposes

Private and Exclusive full day game drive. Children are very welcome – booking it private is sometimes better, as it is only YOU , YOUR family and the guide – and we take our time – we do not rush – we have the WHOLE day – we make it intimate and relaxing – and aim to get the best pictures – in DECEMBER, JANUARY, FEBRUARY, MARCH you really do want to be in the closed air-conditioned vehicle – as it is some days 45 degrees outside – each person has a window seat – in winter again it can be cold on the open Game Drive vehicles, so we like to take you in the closed vehicle -

We loved the game drive with Jon, a former ranger as our guide. He was informative and interesting. We appreciate his respect for the beautiful African animals. We saw 4 of the Big 5 - lions, elephants, rhinos, & buffalo plus numerous other game. Jon provided great food starting with an early morning snack at the entry, a delicious breakfast with homemade muesli and other food as we looked over a lovely valley and the finale of a braii (South African BBQ) with steak, sausage, the best potato salad and curry pasta salad and Malva pudding for dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and plan to take family on it when they visit. This game park is well maintained and the animals look so healthy. It was a treat to go to the oldest game reserve in the world (1895). - Cheryl Blake
