Enjoy a relaxing 2-hour boat cruise on the St Lucia Estuary, part of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park – South Africa’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site.
During the cruise guests can enjoy close-up sightings of hippopotamus, Nile crocodiles basking along the banks, African Fish Eagles, kingfishers, and a wide variety of birdlife that inhabit the mangrove swamps and estuarine shoreline. This experience is especially popular with birdwatchers and photographers, offering excellent opportunities to capture wildlife in its natural habitat.
Our vessel is a large, comfortable passenger ferry designed for safe and enjoyable wildlife viewing. The boat features high safety sides, spacious seating, and plenty of room for guests to move around comfortably. It is wheelchair friendly and suitable for families with children and toddlers.
Guests can enjoy views from the large upper sundeck, perfect for photography and panoramic views of the estuary. The boat also offers a cash bar and tuck shop, selling refreshments such as soft drinks, beer, snacks, sweets, crisps, peanuts and chocolates. Two onboard toilets are available for guest convenience.
